Charity Auction and Sale 2017
Supported by Lisa's Collection and various other partners, a charity auction of Chinese antiques with a charity sale of fine jewellery was held on 28-30 July 2017. As part of the event, Mrs. Lisa Cheung taught a course on Chinese antique authentication at which young people learnt about the materials from which antiques are made and how to revitalize them to maximize their cultural value. Some students volunteered to help thereby gaining some hands-on work experience and the event also encouraged enthusiasts and collectors alike to share their expertise and appreciation of antiques with one another. The proceeds from the auction and sale now support the Federation's online counselling services for socially withdrawn youth with emotional health problems.
