Fresh, unexpected ideas

"Isn't that clever?" "What a great idea!" Comments like these are everywhere this autumn at several big innovation events. They put science and technology in the limelight and we see students who shine.

Everyone loves fresh, unexpected ideas. Thinking of something that's never been thought of or seen before. Creating new and useful notions, challenging the conventional and showing the way to better quality of life for all: that's what our young innovators are doing. You only need to look at their inspired work to see.

Read on to discover highlights of the season's young inventors at the Neighbourhood First App-building Hackathon and at InnoTech Month where HKFYG is campaign partner. Give a big hand to teams who have won creativity awards and see the Youth SPOT magazine for more.
