Reducing youth cybercrime

The sharp rise in global youth cybercrime includes cyber fraud, cyber theft and naked chat with blackmail and hacking. Youngsters are among the most vulnerable victims but are also among the perpetrators. This is why the HKFYG's Youth Crime Prevention Centre has organized an international conference with invited specialists from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, UK and the US to share knowledge and insight.

The goal is to promote awareness, prevention and effective responses to cybercrime. An audience of academics, IT specialists, lawyers, parents, educators, social workers and police officers will participate. Practical experience and strategies for tackling youth cybercrime problems will be reviewed and the objective is to create a collaborative exchange platform and form multi-agency partnerships for youth cybercrime reduction worldwide. See Coming soon below for more details.
