Food with Love

The enjoyment of good food is always better when shared with others; most especially during festive periods when families and friends can gather together.

During the Federation's annual Neighbourhood First Reunion Lunch, this Saturday, young people are enthusiastic and excited to show off their culinary skills learned in uKitchen set up in 11 Youth SPOTs over the last year. They will join hands with volunteer star chefs, in Yuen Long for example, to help prepare handmade Neighbourhood Buns for anyone around, particularly the disabled, lonely or underprivileged. Other young people will arrange activities, including music and games to make sure everyone joins in the fun.

In spite of the challenges of the past year, we have a deep commitment to our neighbourhoods and believe that with more communication, understanding, tolerance and appreciation, we can move forward. The Reunion Lunches throughout Hong Kong, spearheaded by young people, is an opportunity for achieving this.

Do join us if you can!
