Dream Big with Start-up Backing

The rapid development, especially in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems in Southern China, provides valuable opportunities for Hong Kong young people to see their big dreams become reality. Therefore, the Federation greatly encourages young entrepreneurs to join its "Young Startup Pioneer in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area". Under this project, participants will be provided with financial support and professional trainings.

With support from the Funding Scheme for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area under the Youth Development Fund, participating entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 40 can receive a start-up capital of up to HK$600,000, along with comprehensive entrepreneurial support. While providing professional trainings and consultations, the Federation will also match business mentors with the participants and provide them with one year free usage of hot desks for selected projects at the HKFYG Jockey Club Social Innovation Centre.  Partnering with the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-Hub), a visit will be arranged to the E-Hub, where participants will be able to meet and learn from onsite incubators and entrepreneurs. Selected projects will be nominated to be stationed at the E-Hub.

Those who are interested in availing of this programme must hold a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card; have a concrete business plan or idea, or have been running their start-ups for not more than three years. More details, including application, can be found online.

It's time to turn big dreams into reality!
