Recharge with the Arts

In a city that does not always encourage rest, can the arts become our little escape to relax us and heal all the emotional upheavals we have felt over the past year? To answer that question positively, the HKFYG is bringing back a long-awaited arts and cultural weekend.

With support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the HKFYG Cultural Services Unit has launched a youth arts education programme- Restpiration, combining the much needed aspects of Rest, Respire and Inspiration. The programme consists of school tours with arts experience workshops, Restpiration Online and Restpiration - The Feast, which is a weekend event to be held at the West Kowloon Cultural District Art Park on 22- 23 May 2021.

This two-day programme will have more than 30 activities, including free workshops making Chinese seals; learning about aroma stones; and many other exciting activities to challenge and inspire your creativity, with step-by-step guidance from experts.

At a Chillout Zone, there will be performances by local young artists, including Panther Chan, RubberBand, SENZA a cappella and so many more; a Wellness Dojo featuring different instructors to guide participants; and a 'Space-out' Competition!

Some featured sessions will be streamed online via Facebook and YouTube as well. The purpose is for participants to release their stress, find balance and recharge through this wide selection of the arts.

Give yourself a break and join us for a memorable weekend!
