Building a Sustainable Future

It seems we are living in an age that is beset by so many challenges: climate change, global health, environmental degradation ... and the list goes on. What corporates and other organisations are now focusing on is called ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), non-financial factors towards building a sustainable future.

At the Federation, we believe that sustainable development cannot be done without youth engagement. We have, therefore, initiated various ESG programmes to raise environmental awareness among young people, as well as to support their participation in appropriate activities.

For example, Seashore Trash Hunting and Plogging, will see young participants help with ocean and trail cleanups, incorporating them with physical activities like canoeing, jogging and other sporting events.

The newly launched FARM-ily - Shine Engage Nurture is focused on students with autism, helping them learn about farming, outdoor camping and career planning. They will be introduced to other life skills to enhance their sense of self-care and self-value.

The Green Placement Scheme, will equip young people with a sustainability mindset, along with other employability skills to secure work placement in ESG companies.

None of this can be done alone. Come and join our ESG programmes or explore cooperation opportunities related to sustainability.

Let’s build a sustainable future together!
