Taking a New Step with Schools

There is a far greater understanding that when schools and the community collaborate, the common goal of building a better future has more impact. As this has also become the general direction of education reform, the Federation has launched a new online service platform to build strategic partnerships putting schools in touch with educational resources.

This one-stop interactive platform, EasySchoolConnect, enables better collaboration between the Federation and local schools. It allows teachers to quickly and efficiently identify educational resources to meet students' needs by freely choosing from more than 3,000 professional school services and venue facilities. Support will also be provided for any enquiries through a rapid response mechanism by a designated school liaison officer, with all-rounded support from the Federation for the teachers.

This school year, focus will be on Health, Employment, Leadership and Parenting. There will be workshops on new media, career planning, the Greater Bay Area, leadership training, as well as positive parenting.

The end aim is to ensure that all young people to reach their potential with the services they need.
