Leaders for a Sustainable Future
Climate change is real and we at the Federation are committed to ensuring that young people are well versed in all the issues to become real change leaders for a sustainable future.
So, in keeping with the Hong Kong's Climate Action Plan 2050 and the Northern Metropolis Development Strategy announced by the government and supported by The Sustainability Development Fund, The HKFYG Leadership Institute is launching the "Embracing a Low-carbon World" Leadership Programme to facilitate strategic exchanges on low-carbon living, sustainability and ESG among youth leaders in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The Programme provides an extensive learning experience for the participants, including ESG Seedling School Online Workshops, and a Greater Bay Area ESG Youth Summit. Students will also participate in a two-days-one-night GBA ESG Experience Tour to Foshan and Guangzhou, visiting enterprises and speaking to industry leaders. All these activities will help the participants gain a better understanding on topics ranging from green finance to sustainable living in both cities and will be inspired to become future ESG Leaders.
Students who are Form 4 to Form 6 are welcome to enroll through school nomination, and get ready to lead Hong Kong to a sustainable future!
