Involving Young People in ESG Planning

As we start a new year (both calendar and Lunar), what are your plans to grow ESG in your companies and businesses? Any thoughts on incorporating young people into your planning?

The mission of the Federation has always been to keep abreast of developments in the wider world and relating them to the needs, concerns and ambitions of young people. With our current strategic focus on "Digitalisation", "Upskilling", "Sustainability" and "Mainland Strategy", the aim is to ensure young people have the opportunities and possibilities to learn, grow and lead in areas that will help set them on their way.

Some of the Federation's initiatives in these areas include: Digital SAY, which encourages intergenerational digital inclusion; or Project Family Resilience Plus, to build hope and resilience for disadvantaged families; and "Embracing a Low-carbon World" Leadership Programme, which connects local and Greater Bay Area (GBA) youth.

Could these, or any of your own ESG programmes, use the talents, creativity and imagination of young people? Think about how you could engage today's youth to build a brighter future not only for themselves, but for everyone in the community.
