Ensuring Youth are Digitally Prepared

In today's digital age and the speed that is transforming technology, our lives have been completely changed. It is therefore necessary to enable young people to ensure that they are always kept up-to-date and remain adaptable.

The Project, on the Chief Executive's Community Project List and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Jockey Club Digital Transformation Centre was officially launched on 21 June 2023. This specialised training site provides a platform for young people to develop their digital skills, stimulate technological innovation and creativity, and enhance their competitiveness.

The Centre features ten unique digital learning spaces, including the first community-oriented XR Studio; the Metaverse Lab with the latest digital creation technology; a free Creative Community Space for knowledge exchange among creators; an exhibition area accommodating exhibitions, press conferences, interviews and filming; multiple digital creation studios with complete live broadcast and recording equipment, a Green Screen Studio for rapid chromatic synthesis in post-production, and more.

Digital transformation is not just about adopting new technologies; it is about fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and digital fluency among young people, empowering them to shape the future of our digital world. Come and explore the Centre to learn more!
