How about Having a Wet and Wonderful Summer?

No, we're not hoping for rain, but rather take great pleasure in promoting water sports at the newly renovated HKFYG Jockey Club Stanley Outdoor Training Camp. No experience necessary, just the desire to have fun with so many water sports to choose from.

To help us re-open its doors on 19 July 2023, after an extensive renovation with the generous support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, we were very happy and honoured to welcome some very distinguished guests, including the Chief Executive the Hon John Lee Ka-chiu; the Deputy Director General of the Youth Department of the Liaison Office, Professor Song Lai; and Steward of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Dr Silas Yang Siu-shun. Joined by over 250 young people, the response was so positive.

The renovated Camp now features a sustainable green layout, which offers a wide range of ecological expeditions that encourages young people to explore nature and adopt a low-carbon lifestyle. There are also a range of water sports experiences and training programmes to be had, including stand-up paddle boarding, pedal kayaking, board rowing, sailing, windsurfing, and of course, playing on large water inflatables. With accommodation provided as well, young people and families can spend the summer (and beyond) developing a healthy lifestyle and understanding of sustainable living, all while having fun!

So why not bring your friends and head down to The HKFYG Jockey Club Stanley Outdoor Training Camp? It's the best way to have a wet and wonderful summer!
