Welcoming Visitors to Hong Kong

Once again, Hong Kong will be promoted by enthusiastic and passionate young people ready to take up the mantle of being Young Ambassadors, promoting Hong Kong both overseas and locally to visitors and residents alike.

As a joint programme of The Tourism Commission and the Youth Exchange Unit of the Federation, the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme is now in its 23rd year. This year, 270 Young Ambassadors will showcase Hong Kong's unique blend of hospitality and diverse tourism offerings. With relaxed travel ban, some Ambassadors will be stationed at local tourist attractions, including Ocean Park Hong Kong and Cultural Centre for Wong Tai Sin Belief and Customs, as well as participating in large-scale events that celebrate festivals, traditional culture, arts, sports, and outdoor activities, creating an immersive and vibrant atmosphere for everyone.

After a short hiatus, the Scheme will once again include Ambassadors stationed overseas. These soon-to-be students will be our Ambassadors, organising activities in their host schools, colleges and countries, promoting Hong Kong and Chinese culture, enticing overseas tourists to embark on unforgettable journeys to the vibrant city of Hong Kong.

This new generation of passionate Ambassadors will help ignite the spirit of hospitality, in showcasing Hong Kong’s diverse charm.

Join in this exciting programme! Please support the Young Ambassadors as they contribute to the sustainable growth of the local tourism industry.
