Empowering Young Entrepreneurs towards a Sustainable Future
We need to be sustainable for the future. There is just no two ways about it. As young people are the future, we believe that they are the appropriate leaders to transform and spearhead the changes necessary to ensure a sustainable world where everyone thrives.
With the aim to recognise and empower young entrepreneurs who are driven by a passion for merging business with social impact and sustainability, the Federation has launched the Rosewood Foundation Entrepreneurship Award. The Award will provide funding, mentorship, and business collaboration opportunities to help entrepreneurs.
Applicants need to work on one or more of the following themes: eliminating waste and pollution; promoting circularity in product materials/solutions; driving sustainable consumption and production; or refining environmental solutions that enhance urban sustainability. Ten shortlisted companies will receive support from HKFYG and Rosewood Foundation and of these, a further five will be selected to receive scale-up funding of HKD 100,000 per business to expand their businesses and explore opportunities for collaborating with the hospitality business.
Together, let us empower and support the youth as they lead the way towards a sustainable and inclusive world!
Deadline 5pm on 31 October 2023
