High Speed Rail Journey to New Horizons
The high-speed rail system has revolutionalised travel between the Mainland and Hong Kong, connecting cities with unprecedented speed and efficiency, while opening new horizons and opportunities for young people.
With the generous support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club and MTR, the Dragon Foundation and the Federation will be co-organising the Youth High Speed Rail Trip 2024 from 31 March to 3 April, with Changsha in Hunan as the final destination.
This trip will provide 300 high school students with a unique opportunity to experience the convenience of high-speed rail as a cutting-edge mode of transportation, as part of the national rail system. By choosing Hunan, the participants will also learn about Hong Kong’s role as a leading investor in the Province.
This unique trip aims to help young people better understand traditional and innovative aspects of Chinese culture, specifically the Huxiang Culture, as they explore Changsha's rich cultural heritage, witness media technology innovations, and delve into the vibrant food and beverage industry. It is hoped that they will begin to appreciate the importance of their own participation in contributing towards sustainable development.
Please support us in empowering young people to appreciate Chinese culture, contribute to sustainable development, and become future leaders!
