What awaits? Open a book and find out!
Reading is a journey of endless possibilities, limited only by the boundaries of your own curiosity. And where better to embark on this fantastic voyage? The annual Hong Kong Book Fair!
The Federation is once again thrilled to be part of 2024 Hong Kong Book Fair 2024 and we are looking forward to showcasing our latest collection. These include:
Taste of Home (美味記憶), a delightful collection that introduces readers to the traditional snacks of Hong Kong and the collective memories from our childhood.
Poems for Special Needs (SEN心思詩), a collection of poems written by a teacher, from the perspective of students with special educational needs.
Between the Pages - Looking for Book around the World (邊走邊讀--跟著圖書走) , which features over 50 iconic and renowned libraries and bookstores across Asia.
Treasure Trove of Fun (玩樂百寶袋), an exploration of game-filled activities.
The Metaverse Handbook (元宇宙漫遊手冊), a comprehensive guide, for those eager to explore the metaverse, filled with useful information and insights.
We also have two exciting new titles from our winners in the writing programmes, Manjusaka(青色彼岸花), which is the first Kung Fu novel written by a secondary student and Sparkle (火花), narrating the journey of the writer’s school life with her friends and family.
To learn more about these books, we invite you to join us for a series of sharing sessions hosted by these featured writers, as well as the winners from our writing programmes.
Be sure to join us on Monday, 22 July at the ceremony of the Hong Kong Creative Writing Competition and School Young Writers Nurturing Programme.
And finally, don’t forget to visit our Creative Writing Zone, where you can express your own creativity, or vote for the Most Popular entries in both the secondary and primary school categories.
We’ll be at 1B-A12, in the General Books Pavilion at the Book Fair from today to 23 July 2024. Come visit us! We look forward to welcoming you to explore all that the HKFYG bookstore has to offer!
