The "Seek Our Ways" Journey
As stewards of the future, youth play a vital role in addressing community challenges. By harnessing their creativity and energy, they can develop innovative solutions that inspire action and promote a more sustainable and equitable society.
With the generous support of Hang Seng Bank, the Federation launched the "Seek Our Ways" Ideation Programme, designed to empower Hong Kong youth to become active citizens within their communities.
This programme will focus on three key social themes: Environment and Sustainable Development; Promoting Sports for All, and Elderly and Wellness. By becoming engaged in these critical areas, young people will learn how to connect the local with the global, as they become agents of community sustainability.
Running from December 2024 to May 2025, the programme will feature a series of interactive workshops, community experiences, and leadership discussions. These activities will equip participants with the skills necessary to understand and analyse community issues, enabling them to propose innovative and practical solutions during the pitching session. Winning teams will have the opportunity to earn a cash prize of up to HK$20,000 and gain valuable career immersion at Hang Seng Bank.
The programme has been very well received, attracting nearly 1,000 student applications in total. Over 400 shortlisted participants from around 90 secondary schools and tertiary institutions are set to embark on an exciting new adventure.
Together, let us empower the next generation to lead the way toward a more sustainable and equitable future. Join us on this exciting journey!
