Riding the High Speech Rail to New Opportunities
How easy it is now to travel between Hong Kong and a variety of Mainland cities, all because of the efficiency of the high-speed rail system! This advanced infrastructure not only simplifies travel but also opens up many new opportunities for young people.
With generous support from the Youth Development Commission, The Dragon Foundation and the Federation will co-organise a trip for 300 high school students from Hong Kong to Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province. This Youth High-Speed Rail Trip 2025 will take place from 16-19 April.
The participants will have the opportunity to see Wuhan’s rich history and growing high-tech industry. They will also experience what is meant as the country is considering its "15th Five-Year Plan,", with its focus on developing "New Quality Productive Forces," including advancements in technology, sustainable practices and innovative economic models.
During the trip, students will also visit technology companies, participate in discussions with their peers at Wuhan University, and explore important historical sites. This experience aims to help them connect lessons from the past with current innovations, encouraging them to consider their role in China’s future growth.
Please partner with us to inspire young people to appreciate Chinese culture, promote sustainable development, and become tomorrow's leaders. Your support will help empower the next generation and equip them with the skills needed to contribute to society.
