Making Music!
With generous support from The Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Hong Kong International a cappella Contest 2024 recently concluded on a high! With exceptional talents from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan, music filled the air in the city.
As we know, music is a powerful outlet of expression, emotions and dreams, especially for young people. It also allows for the exploration of creativity, the building of confidence and the establishment of a collaborative and supportive community.
One of the standout moments was the performance by Little by Little Kids, a remarkable ensemble of six primary school students aged between eight and ten. Their impressive stage presence and vocal skills earned them the Most Potential Award in the Open Division, delighting the audience and showcasing the promise of young talent.
The Contest also featured a diverse array of performances from various groups, each demonstrating exceptional creativity and vocal precision. Participants displayed not only their individual artistry but also the power of teamwork, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration.
As we welcome the Year of the Snake, may this new year bring transformation, wisdom, resilience, and vibrant energy to us and let us celebrate the dedication and passion of talents as we look forward to an exciting next edition where talent will shine on stage!
