Leading Hong Kong’s Next Chapter
What does it take for young people to move from interest to impact in today’s Hong Kong?
Two decades since its launch, the “Hong Kong 200” Leadership Programme continues to evolve alongside the city it serves. This summer, it once again invites young people to step beyond the classroom, into their communities, across districts and into the conversations shaping Hong Kong’s future, taking the first steps in building networks and learning about leadership grounded in real-world experience.
Based on insights from the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report and Hong Kong’s Youth Development Blueprint, this programme sees the participants step into experiences that push them beyond the familiar, from leadership camps and future skills workshops to exploring the forces shaping Hong Kong’s development first hand. For 40 hours, they will be challenged to think critically, work collaboratively and respond to real issues facing the city.
That journey culminates in a “Project for Hong Kong” initiative centred on the Northern Metropolis, where ideas are not just discussed, but developed into proposals with real potential for impact.
And it does not stop there. Participants will join a vibrant network of over 4,000 alumni and leaders across sectors, opening up opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and continued growth long after the summer ends.
Follow their journey. Share your experiences. Be part of what comes next.
