Growing Good: Fresh Ideas, Lasting Impact
What happens when organic farming meets smart technology and a community ready to make a difference? A fresh chapter for the HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm!
We are delighted to announce a major milestone in Hong Kong's green movement with the revitalisation of our Organic Farm. Since 2010, the Farm has championed eco-education and sustainable living.
Nestled across 160,000 square feet in Tai Lam Country Park, this transformed facility, redeveloped with generous support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, now serves as an advanced living laboratory for climate action. As Hong Kong's only farm holding dual HKORC and USDA organic certifications, it yields over 40,000 catties of organic produce annually while integrating smart IoT agricultural technologies, renewable energy systems, and circular resource management.
Beyond sustainable agriculture, the Farm provides corporate partners a dynamic platform to take ESG beyond the boardroom and into the field, connecting environmental goals with tangible community impact through three key areas:
- Smarter farming, shared learning: Advancing AgTech and Environmental Education
- Local goodness, lighter footprints: Promoting Low-carbon Diets and Supporting Local Agriculture
- More nature, greener habits: Fostering Nature Conservation and Sustainable Living
Sustainability is more than a policy; it is a shared commitment to empowering our community and safeguarding our planet.
Come and see low-carbon innovation take root. Together, let's grow fresh ideas into lasting change!
