M21 New Media Festival 2019
The festival has an exciting 2-day programme from 5-6 July with a broad mix of activities. They include a video contest, talks, exhibitions and film screenings, as well as an integrated creative space at HKFYG's Jockey Club Media 21 (M21) in Aberdeen. M21 will be open to the public during this major partnership event which has four main objectives.
These are to introduce up-and-coming new media technologies, platforms and trends and provide an opportunity for youth to learn about new media training and career paths. It is also hoped that young people will gain raised awareness of the new media and the knowledge and skills they need to contribute to this sector. The M21 New Media Festival Values+ Online Video Awards contest prizes will be awarded during the event.

Significant difference between teachers' and students' evaluation of ICT ability.
Majority of students claim to only recognize the names of ICT tools or simple operation procedures.
All teachers expect students to be able to apply their knowledge into work.
Major challenges Over half of the teachers surveyed had difficulty keeping up with ICT developments and not having enough ICT lesson time.
